"French Congo" versus "Belgian Congo"

For those not familiar with Congo, the two main "Congo" areas are the "French Congo" and the "Belgian Congo". Their border is the Congo River.

According to most encyclopedias, both the French Congo" and the "Belgian Congo" are part of the Republic of the Congo
