Just for clarity, this MP is not part of government, she chairs a House of Commons Committee. It has little power and the intention is to question and challenge MP who are members of the government, and invite other persons to come and give their thoughts. But it is worrying that MPs think this way, no due process, believe the women nonsense.
Are MPs not elected to Parliament? How is that not part of government?
The government is comprised of MPs appointed by the prime minister, they hold the levers of power. MPs are elected and are the fodder to get legislation through. The parliamentary system is different from the US system of administration, legislature and courts.
