My oversimplification.

It's going to be like the kids game "Red Rover".

When you fail to penetrate the other side (or fail to stop penetration from the other side) ---- you are forced (one-by-one) to become the other side.

At the end of the game ----- everyone is on the same side --- and everyone gets to brag that they won.
