There are few occupations that a barely passing collage degree makes sense. Teaching is the largest one. D student in collage not a problem as long as you are politicly left. This has been true for a very long time. All this woke shit piled on top came along with Obama. Trade school is a better opt.

You also have to pass the Praxis exams for many states. Those are expensive and not that easy to pass.
My sister was a successful teacher now retired. Very smart, she was the head of the Drama, Chorus, Band at a 3,000 student HS and switched to teaching IB English, Film, and so other coarse. She only has a bachelor's. She is a libtard, but not for abortion and not involved with the woke BS to any extent.
I only remember 5 teachers names, they were the good teachers... There were lots of crazies and drunks etc... Or people with poor teaching skills.
I worked a year as a security guard at one of the top HS in Orlando back in 2012 and saw a lot I didn't like. The cliche about the poor overworked teachers didn't seem that true, because 15 min. after school let out the teachers parking was nearly empty.
School day 7:30 AM until 3:15 PM 7.75 hours. They had 50 min. classes and the teachers had a lunch break and also 1 period free for grading etc... If they taught that period it was extra pay.
There are 180 School days with some being shorter days. Around a Week before and a week after for opening and closing out the school year. 190 days + whatever continuing education which all professions seem to require.
