Interesting thought. I dont think the civil war was that moment of if it would be better tho. I believe that is way closer to current times than then. I believe it was around that same time when the civil rights moment happened. Point in question is the family unit was destroyed for them under the false guise of the government will do everything for you pushing fathers out and starting this revolving door of kids raised without fathers, starting crime, having kids with numerous different women and not being in that kids life, starting next crime generation, repeat.
