The CA legislature can override the veto. That way the state still gets to steal the kids and Gruesome’s presidential hopes are not damaged.
You are correct. Then Newsom looks like the good guy for "trying to protect" parents when he knew all along it would go into effect.
This is the bill to take custody away from parents who choose not to affirm their child's identity. It seems like a giant win on the surface, but I think he did it because publicly declaring he was out to steal kids away from parents would end all chances of him being elected president.

Also, it prevents state Vs parent custody cases taking longer, less evidence and defence to consider.

This is one of the many reasons why I homeschool.
The veto of the parents rights bill was nothing more than covering his butt for the presidential run. He has found other ways to push his agenda.
