Well at this point they have to do something. Gropey's numbers are in the toilet, Cackles is widely hated too. They can and probably will try to "dominion" a Biden "reelection" but that only works when the margins are reasonably close. Trump is up in polls by double digits. Normies are starting to wake up and Gropey's supporters are turning on him. They pretty much have to shove someone in who has a plausible chance of winning or at least can narrow the margin enough for ballot stuffing.

I would think someone more like Cuomo or Bel Edwards would be the guy they would go with, not Gavin Gruesome. Someone younger, more moderate, less baggage, to be the "sensible" choice.
