Fun story! So I texted my wife a link to this since I have a birthday coming up and the text never went through.

We experimented for a while, and we could each send each other a link to www.herobullion.com just fine.
Any time EITHER OF US tried to paste the part after .com, the text wouldn’t go through. We did this dozens of times in each direction, and even tried just linking “donald-trump-the-don-1-oz-silver-round/“. It wouldn’t. Go. Through!!!
Something about that “ donald-trump-the-don-1-oz-silver-round/” royally pissed off one of our service providers.
For reference, I use AT&T (I know, they are probably the culprit…and I am on my parents’ cell plan because it’s cheaper for them to keep my number on the plan…) and she uses StraightTalk.
Anyone else wanna try this experiment out with their significant other and post the results?
It worked for me using my gmail account. I'm on Verizon.
It also worked for me when using iMessage with a coworker. But it absolutely refused to send, while other messages would send, when my wife and I were texting back and forth between AT&T and StraightTalk.
Again, it's more than likely AT&T doing it. It would be awesome if other AT&T users here could try and replicate.
I remember back around the time of the 2020 election there was a meme that I was trying to text my wife that wouldn't go through, but would go through if I used "digital camouflage" as Q described. There was also a link around that time that each time I tried to send it to her, she would receive a weird message saying something like "the sender of this message tried to send harmful content." And when she would send me the link, I just plain wouldn't receive anything.
AT&T has a huge track record of auto-censoring text messages. I just wish I could figure out exactly what it is in this link that was triggering the autocensor so that I could plot a way around it.

You know what you should do when you see that sort of thing, is record a video of it and then post to X so it can go viral. It could then be used as evidence against AT&T for election interference.
