Love harbor freight… You know they do have the blue ones.. I should get one and the next time they scream that fires are coming to San Diego ( they have done it a few times ) I’ll throw one on my roof just to be a smart ass ! I live coastal so it’s harder for them to do wild fires near me ,, but then again look what they did in Hawaai,, I still can’t believe it ! I pray that murderous horror woke up most of the ignorant !
I lived in SD for a year and a half a few years ago. My take-away was that it was a great place to visit, or live for a short time, but the dense population, ridiculous cost of housing, and lack of seasonal diversity, just made it a place I wouldn't want to live in longer than I did. I did enjoy a really good year and a half of surfing though :) (and apparently, I caught what was probably the best string of swells they had in a couple of decades) The houses are soooo close together there, that it seems like it wouldn't take much for a fire to sweep through, from east to west, if strong winds from the east were blowing.
Blue tarps at harbor freight are $100...
