I grew up in a small town during the 60’s and 70’s just a few houses down from the VFW. My Grandma worked there so we were allowed to go in with her in the morning when she was cleaning.
Around 11:00 her brother would come and sit at the bar. He was a WW2 vet and seldom talked about what he did during the war. But, one day I remember him talking to another vet about how his unit took over one of the concentration camps toward the end of the war.
He was assigned to go through rail cars that were stacked full of dead people and estimate how many there were. He wasn’t bragging or anything like that, I remember how serious and calm he seemed when he told the story. He was not a high ranking soldier, maybe a Sergeant by then.
My question is who were these dead people in the rail cars? If the official version he was told is untrue, he was still counting hundreds, if not thousands of dead bodies, who were they?
thousands of bodies is not 6 million. one explanation i heard was that the germans had to abandon the camps to escape the allies so they weren't getting food shipments for weeks/months.
You’re right, it doesn’t equate to 6 million. And, the cars could have been full of Slavic and Romani people. All I know is what someone there witnessed and told me.
I’m a jaded person, I don’t much believe the official account on anything anymore, so I’m wide open to alternative points of view. But, regardless of the point of view sauce and receipts are necessary.
One day I’ll take some time to read more about the point of view you of the people in the clip you posted.
Holocaust Hoax by Victor Thorn is a real eye opener and changed my view on the topic.
I didn’t watch.

David Irving makes a fairly good case if you have the time.
