The line of succession if everything being suggested plays out.

If they’re going to have Kamala resign, newsome step up and vp and 25th Biden to make Newsome president, speaker of the house becomes VP.

This last part I am not sure. The line of succession, and I might be wrong here, is for the President.

Think about it this way - when Kamala resigns, this logic dictates that speaker becomes VP.
