I have worked in a nursing home before and I left after 9 months. I was getting chest pains due to the stress. I would not wish anyone to reside there. You go there to die! The level of care is atrocious due to the ratio of patients. Out of pocket payment is at least $6000.00/ month. For that, you could have someone come into your home.
