If using energy efficiency regulations, as the DOE claims, really slash household utility costs by $1.5 billion a year there would be no need to impose draconian measures. The cost savings would incentivize the change anyway.

IF they would release the 6,000 patents they withholding from the American public, all these regulations would be moot, but that's not their plan.
