Anyone who has travelled on a plane in the past 5 years has most probably given enough data for facial biometrics. They are just now announcing what they have already implemented.
As you board the plane they take a facial photo and compare it against your passport. I'm sure it's could be used to collect additional biometric data, but the fact is, they already have your photo from processing your passport, and probably your D/L (and probably a lot more from Fakebook, etc if you put yourself out there).
I don't particularly like it, but OTOH, do you really want the flight attendants to be responsible for facial recognition against the passport? I like flight attendants, but they aren't all the sharpest knives in the drawer. Machine's probably a lot more reliable and leaves a record in case they were wrong.
Ya, I kind of figured they already have our info. I'm headed out on travel tomorrow and was debating whether to just make sure they have my biometric data for sure - and give them a hand. ;)

My first sense about the video was the voice. Sounded like a Rod Serling delivery,(twilight zone 50's-60's) which I thought was really weird.
Now use it on both borders, wait that would be racist
