I think the plan involves wrapping up the "lawfare" portion before Trump gets back into office, that way he is unencumbered and has the backing to turn the tables and do everything they did to him right back. Only this time it will go a lot faster because the public is already informed and it will be beyond obvious who is lying in court. Quick trials!
