The left in America has never understood the right, even though conservatives can accurately summarize liberal ideology.

The core principle of the right is small government. How do you shrink government and end up with authoritarianism?

Ask them that question and they have no answer.

Since the right believes in order, liberals pretend to not know the difference between order and authoritarianism. Because police = bad.

Ask an actual Nazi what they think of conservatives and they won't have much good to say. It's rather difficult to support national socialism and then vote with people who want to abolish the IRS.
