Since its conception, really. I bet there's a fun rabbit hole seeing if Rolling Stone had the same CIA backers as the "counter culture" Laurel Canyon crowd turned out to have.

I'm so astounded and glad that being in Laurel Cyn did not warp me. I observed that the "hippies" were the most prejudiced and stuck up people I had ever known. That was before the concept of "libtards" became something real to me. Now I know what the hell was (and is) wrong with some of the people I have known. It was so vague... made me uneasy. Boy now they are recognized as fucktards with hardening of the brain! I am grateful for the instincts I have. The one that makes me rebel so strongly against manipulation.
