guarantee, once this guy resigns or is fired, and is away from the media attention of it, he will be given a slap on the wrist or let go entirely with no other punishment than having his reputation besmirched. will probably have another govt job in a couple years. meanwhile, young people discharged for offenses of much less serious nature are barred from govt employment for life and have a really hard time finding gainful employment due to their immature decisions.
