This speech by Patrick Henry and 'The American Crises' by Thomas Paine are my two favorite Patriot pleas for action. I am not ashamed to admit it, this brings tears to my eyes. When I first decided to go from lurking to posting, it was with a series of posts highlighting these two great Patriots and putting these utterances into context. These words are as important today as they have ever been.

I concur with Patrick Henry; Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death! I no longer see any other option available to a true Patriot.
