America doesn't have just a single culture or people, you know. If you had read about our history, you would know that.
America is a country founded on immigrants. There have been immigrants here since the beginning. It's only lately that people want to stop immigration.
They want to come here for the same reason all immigrants have. To be able to make a good life here. The same with your immigrant ancestors.
Unless you're First Nations or Native American. If that is the case, I see your point.
You are both correct. Many immigrants come to America for freedom and prosperity. Others come to exploit. The generalizations are the problem. I welcome those who wish to come and seek out opportunity through hard work and innovation and would happily show the door to those that wish to exploit our nation. History has shown us that most immigrants came to this county and enriched it with their culture while simultaneously embracing our way of life. I would recommend an exchange program, for every hard working and freedom loving immigrant we take in, we send an unhappy American citizen back to the immigrants home country as a replacement. As far as I see it, it is a win-win for all parties involved.
I think that the US could use the kind of grit that some of these immigrants show. Many come and do backbreaking work for little pay working here on agricultural visas.
Others spend their lives learning English and computer tech and developing skills to get a visa to work here in tech jobs.
I have no problem with hard-working people coming here.
Especially when you look at how lazy and entitled so many Americans have become.
And I don't even want to see anyone acting like that's not the case. Everyday I see people, especially here, complaining about how lazy and entitled younger Americans are, and how they need "safe spaces" and all that nonsense.
I don't think that there is just one culture in America. And when foreigners come here and bring their foods and languages and traditions, it doesn't take mine away. They're not running inside your house, demanding you learn their language, eat their food, and worship like they do.
Life would be extremely boring if everyone looked and thought and acted and spoke and cooked all the same. Variety is the spice of life.
Wholly agree. It is a huge part of why America became so innovative and industrious. The intentional destruction of American "culture" has led us to where we are today. The Deep State and corrupticrats have sold us out to line their own pockets and feed their own depravity. We either get back to morality and honor, or this world will fall into darkness.
