Newt seems totally unbothered that ALL of the Contract w/ America stuff that won the House for the GOP and the Speaker gavel for him was abandoned by McCarthy.
The "vote on bills out of committee" (not rammed thru unread at the last minute) was once important to him.
I had an inkling that he had been compromised by the cabal when he converted to Catholicism in 2010-11 (not bashing Catholic friends, but Conservative Christian Baptists, etc are unacceptable to the cabal.)
