Exactly, Gaetz did nothing "illegal". It reminds me of what President Trump said about the bankruptcy laws that he used to declare bankruptcy more than once. As long as they are on the books, he is stupid if he doesn't use them. If you don't like the laws, then change them. I guess that's what the RINOs want to do now - change the rule that Gaetz got McCarthy to agree to.
