Well, maybe the education realm where you are is as censored there as it is here in the US. There was a Kowa study that I heard about last year that I was referencing. They found it to be more effective than the vaccine, so doctors recommended it to patients instead of the vaccine #based: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/japans-kowa-says-ivermectin-effective-against-omicron-in-phase-iii-trial

You are completely correct on both accounts. Teachers are dumb in both countries, and although ivermectin has been advocated by Japanese doctors, people here don't know crap unless their TV tells them so. It's sad.
