On the show, the ATeam would go into a town where people were being bullied by local thugs or corrupt politicians. They would teach the people how to organize, become motivated and have hope that they can win. There’s usually more good people than bad.
I believe 99% of Americans are good people. But misinformed. Miseducation. And fully past the Marxist demoralization phase.
To some extent human nature says when people are desperate, see now way out except to do something…. They end up doing something

If people think that some secret military force is going to fix everything. Folks would go back to observer mode which is what got us here in the first place.
