We are told some mumbo jumbo by the talking heads on media, such as 'specially colored people have a magical spiritual affinity to water, and so there is demand for a fifth of the population to control half of all those services (actually water taxes) because only colored people have special knowledge about the treasure of water (forgetting that sewerage is also a thing). We are talking about Municipal, Public Services that generations have paid for and now we are somehow collectively meant to pay, through centrally controlled property taxes, for the development of big, and even smart, cities. I am not in LA. I am close by, but we do have drought in the Midwest. The rain just started last week but it has not gotten to everyone.
