I/my husband have guns at home, but I am away all day everyday and my grandkids are unknowledgeable about weapons, no matter where I may hide them. I have a 10 year old grandson that tears up everything he gets his hands on. When a child will take a hammer and chip off large chunks of their front porch made of brick, you definitely don't want a gun around. I'd be afraid he would shoot me before I could get it away from him. No matter what I will find to use for protection, I'm sure I will have to hide it really good and hope I can access it quickly when needed.
Thanks, but I'm not that stupid. And he is not mine to discipline. It wouldn't do any good because his mother spoils him rotten. I personally am afraid of guns; however my husband just bought me a lady's Walther P22 with 2 extra clips and a box of 425 bullets. Now I've always heard that the most dangerous person with a gun is one who is afraid, so if you see me coming, Watch Out.
No offense but being scared of guns is pretty stupid. And that stupidity correlates with knowledge. Learn what guns are, how they function and learn to use one properly and I promise you the fear will vanish and you will see it new light. Best of luck.
I was almost shot when I was 13yo. It's a phobia. But I will be allright. My husband is going to teach me. He said he couldn't believe there would be a day when I'd ask for a gun. But now it's here. Charlie Kirk announced on todays show,
"If you don't own a gun by now, it's time to get one. The government isn't going to take care of us, so it's every man for himself."

Discipline. Start there. And if you get a gun. Don’t tell the kids you got one.

THAT WAS ENOUGH FOR ME.
