These are Border Patrol apprehensions between ports of entry only, this data does not include CBP encounters at ports of entry.
Border Patrol sources tell me they have extreme concerns about who is coming into the country because they have little to no way of vetting people from these special interest countries. Iām told unless they have committed a crime previously in the US, or they are on some sort of federal watchlist, thereās no way to know who they are because most of their home countries donāt share data/records with the US so there is nothing to match a name to when BP agents run fingerprints.
A special interest alien is a term used by the U.S. government to refer to people coming from countries that have conditions that favor or harbor terrorism, or pose a potential national security to the U.S."
These are only the number of people apprehended. This doesn't include the 100,000+ per day just walking over the border and being handed free food, a card with money on it, and a cellphone in exchange for their promise to go to their immigration hearing...that is programmed into the cellphone for them...and they usually turn around and leave the government provided cellphone on the bus or where ever because they have no intention of reporting anywhere to any US authority now that they're in the country because they might get deported. This is why Trump had that wait in Mexico on the other side of the border policy, and Biden instantly got rid of it.
