I recall watching a thing back in the day breaking down how the whole Iron Dome system was basically a smoke show and not actually functional. It has real explosions and all that, but it's not what you think. Exceptionally effective at keeping the population keyed up though.

If Iron Dome is a smoke show, it stands to reason most of the rockets that are inbound are also a smoke show...

Remember when Israel refused to give the US the software for Iron Dome, and we were pissed because it was a joint development? That explains everything.
