Torah does not forbid taking up arms. The Israelites obviously fought other nations through several battles with the blessing of God.

This is not to be confused with outlawing murder and leaving personal vengeance to the Lord.

I'm not "of the jews" so I figured I'd defer to the people calling themselves, "Torah Judaism" as knowing a bit more about their actual beliefs than I do...

But let's not get caught up in splitting hairs - The main takeaway here is seeing "The People" getting cornholed by the rulers for wrong think.
