Visiting a main work location, as I work remote. Met a new hire from Israel, nice guy. Don’t know squat about his history, his experience or much about Israel geography. But I do know when an adult professional is deeply concerned about his immediate family. He had talked with his parents and brother last night.

This man could barely function. It makes an impression on you. The fear, uncertainty and helplessness
