Howdy Folks.

I've been vacationing in Jordan for the last week with some friends as it is the safest country to travel in the Middle East with women and we've thoroughly enjoyed Arabic culture. I'm here to offer some insights on what is transpiring after conversations with the civilian and government level.

  1. Most Arabs support an independent Palestine. Most Arab leadership see it as a solution but also agree it is unattainable. Jordan, Egypt and rest of Arabia are determined to stay out of the conflict by all means necessary.

  2. Jordan and other Arabic nations are absorbing Palestinian refugees into their own population. The refugees assimilate into their new countries and tend to do well. It -feels- like there is an active investment by benign foreign entities to help them integrate.

  3. The Israeli response was swift and effective. It seemed oddly prepared and brilliantly executed, as if they were planning this. There is consensus that Israel planned to use this conflict as an excuse to evict the last of the Arabs from Gaza and take it over for good. Israel has a tacit understanding with Jordan and other countries about this result.

  4. It seems very much like something like this should happen while Buyden is in power. There is no good solution to the Middle East problem without either the eradication of Israel or giving Gaza to Israel. It seemed like ultimately this is part of a plan. This will bring long lasting peace and finality to the Middle East region once it is over.
