It could make sense to drip it out over a few years rather than have us physically at each other's throats immediately after the election.

The pendulum has swung a bit to a a larger group of people believing at least some form of election interference occured.

But again, no proof that this is the official plan. And we have all theorized this for years so it's not exactly breaking news
