Just curious, I've heard two prominent RW talk guys (Dan Bongino, Jor Pags) say that Palestine NEVER existed. Just curious if anyone else has heard others state similar things.

If you want to be specific, the closest thing there is out there is a claim that the palestines descend from the Philistine caanaanite tribe, which would explain a lot. Otherwise, it was a Kingdom of Israel, be it independent or a vassal to assyrians, babylonians and persians, then the roman province of Judea, then part of the Arab(later Turk) caliphate, then a british possession, and the the current state of Israel.
Why do old maps say "Palestine" then? I wasn't alive back then, and was too busy studying old literature to be interested in old Middle Eastern territorial boundaries. I researched old maps, and will be going through my Mother's library next time I'm there, but thusfar, all I am seeing pre-1948 is Palestine...again, that's in maps back to the 20th Century beginning, so I've not hit any prior...
But under Britain, wasn't it called Palestine at that time?
Most Palestinian families trace their roots to Arab Muslims who settled in the area called Palestine( named previously by the Greeks),after the Islamic conquest of the region. Some are likely Jewish or Samarian decent as many stayed after the Assyrians previously conquered the area from the 10 tribes of Israel
