Completely agree - I've run Linux since 1992. I live open source.

My point was - this is a private person running something that a large number of people believe is a government site. It is plainly not. If it were the domain would be .gov or .mil and not .org. They also don't have a link on their page to take you to their "about" page - like they are hiding it. I don't think they are doing anything bad - just having fun - but why hide who they are?

What makes things worse is there is another debt clock as well online. One of them is owned and run by some billionaire real-estate person but it is hart to figure out which is which because they are both debt clocks.

Looks like a couple of people didn't like the message but that's ok. If you want to believe whatever some unknown person says regarding the Dollar and precious metals you are free to do that. It isn't hurting anyone. Maybe I shouldn't have answered the question and let you wonder? Oh well.
