Other beings could include other intelligences that dwell in other dimensions/realms. Think about the comparison between devils and reptilian aliens. Both are bipedal, have scales, horns, long tails and vestigial wings. Same things? I just figure we have some predators or parasites that are beyond our perception. We can also access higher guidance if we get our mental chatter out of the way.
