Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) performed a major service for America after exposing a potential pay-to-play scheme involving Joe Biden’s “$400 billion Man” during a Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing Thursday.
If people pay to see Shah, he is important enough to warrant such a fee. The fee was to introduce themselves to this great wielder of loans... so no tickee, no washee. If one knows the rules, one gets to play... AKA PAY TO PLAY.
Shah feigns humility, when he says he is not that important. What he meant was he didn't think he would get caught... and by the time $400B had gone under the bridge, there is a certain type of confidence, and success, in that belief of anonymity.
