If trump pardoned them, the media will say he's an insurrectionist and that he had planned this(which they still did). If his followers endured they will have justice and compensation eventually and the operations against them will be exposed. Just like how Trump wanted to unjustly go to jail and have his classified documents(Russia hoax) taken to court to be unveiled to every corner of the Earth.
