If I am understanding this correctly, the lower court's injunction limited the government's access to social media. SCOTUS has now blocked that injunction and will not take the case up until next year. This is not good.
That is my understanding as well. Glad they are taking it up, but not in this way. This will allow for continued government/big tech propaganda well into an election year.
The fact that Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch all dissented gives me a lot of pause on being optimistic about this.
As always, time will tell.
Exactly, why did they not leave the injunction in place until the case is heard. Expect a full ramp up of deplatforming and censorship prior to the election.
