Who are the nine House Republicans who declared their candidacy for speaker?

Several House Republicans are running for speaker in the fourth round of voting after nominees Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) failed to receive the 217 votes necessary to become top leader of the House.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this is good news?

The longer this loony show drags out, the better. The longer that Congress - by which I mean the dysfunctional, anti-American, self-enriching swamp - is without a speaker, the less damage it can do to the country, and the world.

A country is not its government. It is its people.
