It warms my heart that most on this board don't buy into the evangelical BS of believing that the modern State of Israel isn't the 'chosen ones'.
I guess many have read their Bibles. In the Bible Jesus ended the sacrificial system, and opened up salvation to everyone meaning us gentiles out here whether white, black, oriental, Indian, or what ever.
Good to see people are actually awake to what Jesus' mission was and what he stood for and taught.
Amen.
Death? It was the Son of the true God who gave his life. GOD the Father never died. Also, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by God and still lives. WE serve a living Savior
Actually Jesus raised himself. Go read the gospel of John. The keys of life and death have been given to the son. He wasn’t resurrected, he did it himself.
Ok I'm refering to people of the book previous to Jesus death an resurection. Did these people enter heaven and where they accept by the father?
PreserveMF, it is my understanding from reading the Bible that when Jesus died, he went to hell and "PREACHED SALVATION" to those held in Paradise......those in paradise were the ones who worship God previously. If they accept Him they also rose from the grave with him when He came up out of the grave. After that, people did not go to Paradise..........you either accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and go to heaven OR you don't and by not accepting Him you choose to go to hell. God gives His WAY to people and every person makes their own choice....heaven or hell. The Bible also says that when a Believer IN Jesus dies this is what happens..........TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. Hope this helps. People don't realize it but when you give our life to the Lord Jesus, He comes into you and begins, by the work of the Holy Spirit, to change your heart, your attitude and everything about you.......because He loves you so much He wants you to be free of all intanglements of the past. JESUS LOVES YOU.
It says the will be raised in the resurrection of the just. Because they believed in Christ coming but died before he came.
Thanks I thought something similiar.
