Everyone was lied to and the lies were reinforced over and over again.
True. And those who have a healthy distrust to authority saw right through it from the start. There's a reason the unvaxxed exists.
Not only were they lied to, they were coerced.
True. You say "they" as the unvaxxed wasn't a part of that group. Do you argue that those who didn't take the vaccine didn't get coherced in the same way as everybody else?
A single parent supporting two minor children is going to take the "safe and effective" jab in order to keep their job. The military were forced or fired. School kids were forced or they couldn't attend school.
True. Sometimes we're forced to to make tough decisions. Like injecting a mystery gene therapy or lose our jobs. For reasonable people that's an easy choice even if it has a high price.

Not only that, we must try to do it in such a way that nobody will do anything similar for the rest of humanity's existence. Just killing them will not do, it will be forgotten just like doctors spreading plague to earn money. We must do something on a scale humanity have not seen before, and hopefully never will.
I'm talking horrors beyond biblical scale. If we don't, they will come for our children and we will deserve it.
