Tulip bulbs have no limit on production. Neither do US dollars. Bitcoin's production is limited. As the dollar approaches 0, Bitcoin's dollar denominated value approaches infinity. This is not an opinion.

Except bitcoin has a maximum supply of 21million. And it cannot go past this.

Yes other currencies come online and go away. Avoid those.
