I'm not sure. Hoping someone here chimes in. Might just be a note for the history books.
The resolution here refers the impeachment to committee- to both Judiciary + Homeland Security committees. It has gone to the appropriate subcommittees of those committees, both of which have heavy Freedom Caucus influence. Once the subcommittees report and the committees report, then the impeachment should be taken up again for a house vote. It could have other actions taken before a vote, such as additional hearings or committee actions, depending on the recommendations of the committees or other political gaming.

Thanks so muc for this information!
hopefully not just a note, or worse an asterisk.
Impeachments in history: Andrew Johnson in 1868.
Also William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton in 1998, which heralded the rise of the murderous, vengeful and slippery wife, as Billy's boats were kinda burned, and someone had to keep the coffers filled.
I don't count DJT's impeachamammontz, as both attempts were overturned.
What happened in congress, after these presidents were impeached?
Will have to do more research - maybe tomorrow. Had surgery and I'm loop de loop right now.
