False, a convenient is a everlasting and cannot be broken by God, the Bible has no verses read it in context. Yes he is speaking to abram but he says to abram that he will make him a great nation. Abram then passes his blessing of becoming a great nation to who Isaac while an angel said Ishmael will also become a great nation. Then from Isaac to Jacob the covenant was passed God then creates a new covenant and renames Jacob to Isreal.
