What do we even need the federal government or the US congress for anyway? One side "screws-up" the country, the other side pretends to be mad. Hit repeat. Its all bull-puckey to say it mildly.
I want a smaller, less intrusive government to be sure, but a nation this size needs Government, but one that is by the people and for the people. Not by the elite club from Harvard, Princeton and Yale who amass great wealth at our expense.
But without a just law enforcement system in place, Mad Max and the wild wild West does not even cover the savagery and madness that would become mundane life.
Another aspect is this, Government also negotiates with foreign nations and interests, who would you want to take on the nuclear weapons policy of Iran, old farmer bill from down the road?
The problem is we have nitwits at the helm who were not lawfully elected. We have nitwits at the helm who were lawfully elected but have been bought out by interests that favor anyone but the American people.
But the real problem is, we the people, let it get this far by not being involved in the process. We lazily let others do it for us for so long that, like frogs in hot water, we just got accustomed to boiling to death.
Isolationism and local/state government seems like it would be sufficient. Why do we need to negotiate with foreign countries or communicate at all? Governments produce nothing besides confusion and turmoil. The government youre advocating for is who produces policies and regulations that allowed/pushed us to become fat, lazy, stupid, passive. Ill meet you in the middle---lets de-regulate, kill the bureaucracy, close the border, stop trading with other nations, hand counted paper ballots, put an end to lobbying and kill the "political career" industry

When we adhere to the Constitution again, all titles of nobility must be excluded from any public office like it says.
