Is non-gun related violence higher in these areas due to the relative absence of firearms?

The term "gun violence" is intentionally vague. What percentage of the deaths are suicide? What percentage are self defense?

Yes it is. Violent crime in the UK, and continental Europe is higher than in the USA. I had a bunch of stats when Colorado went through it’s unconstitutional 2012 gun law crisis.
