It would take 50,000 20MB drives to equal the capacity of a single Terabyte drive (really: Imagine a pile of 50,000 5.25" hard drives). EDIT: At this point, I wrote a correction, thinking I'd got the number wrong, but u/enough_of_the_racism pointed out that . . . my numbers were right the first time so I've over-written the original Edit here. 50,000 20MB hard drives per TB it is. Your math was right the first time. 50,000 x 20 MB = 1,000,000 MB = 1 TB
On your edited math you did 1,000MB (so 1 GB) x 1000 x 1000. So you did whatever 1,000 TB is (it’s too early for me to look that up.)
