God choose them for a reason. This exact reason : To show us Christians and others how not to be, how not to behave, how not to be limited in science with dumbed down einsteinian materialistic philosophy or freudian limited psychology. Also religion, God gave 10 commandments to Moses, Israelit tribes of whom become Jews and Arabs and Amaleks among them but I dont see Jews behaving like those rules matter to them,
