I think a lot of it is common sense, the people are genuine & make good decisions. there's also something surreal going on; related to the land (part of the Louisiana purchase) the native tribes (Sioux) and the Mississippi/Missouri Rivers. the land is also rich with minerals/resources; low flying planes all summer.
