No, I don't think Bill Gates said that. I'm pretty sure it was taken out of context. I think he said something like with vaccines the population should reduce because some people won't have as many children because their children won't be dying from disease.
This is fucking retarded. Parents who have their children die -- even before being born -- don't just say "wow, that sucks, let's just have another one!"
Fertility is more closely linked to intelligence. The smarter you are, the more likely you are to have a smaller family.
Good thing we pumped Africa full of vaccines, I'm sure that won't bite us in the ass.
